Abstract

The current search is interpretation study structural of the seismic reflection data of the Nasiriyah fieldwhich was carried out by the first and second Iraqi seismic crew in (1973 to 1988).  The area of seismic data acquisition is (1273) Km2, and reprocessing which was carried out by processing center in O.E.C.Nasiriyah oil field is located in DhiQar Governorate, in southern Iraq. The field lies east of the River Euphrates, about 38 kilometers northwest of the city of Nasiriyah, which includes (24) wells. In some wells are shows oil evidence in Nasiriyah oil field. For this reason, Hartha Formation is studied.

After definition of the studied reflectors by using synthetic seismograms in time domain for wells (Ns_1, and 3), we picked these reflectors in all area and mapped the top and bottom Hartha reflectors in time domain, which are later converted to structural maps in depth domain using velocity data of these reflectors.

Time, velocity and depth maps are drawn depending on the structural interpretation of the twopicked reflectors (top and bottom Hartha), and showedThe Nasiriyah structure appear as main a regular enclosures shape, the general direction is in the northwest - southeast.The structure is having three enclosuressituatedin five wells area,The general dip towards the northeast.
