Abstract:
Since the thermal detector play a very important role in the mid- Infrared and longer wavelength region. The Bolometer which turn the change in resistance of active material to the voltage responsivity can be consider as a highly efficient detector. The carbon nanotubes immersed in Polyvenalydene Fluoride (PVDF) polymer was fabricated between two metallic electrodes to form a thin film Bolometer. The temperature coefficient of the resistance was calculated and the responsivity of the detector was about 50V/W. The time response of this detector was found to be about 200μs.
