Call for Abstracts

First symposium on "Geological studies in Archeology" (SGSA) will be held in the Department of Geology, College of Science, University of Baghdad to explore and shading views on the Cultures and Civilization of Mesopotamia.

All of you know that from this land of the two rivers Tigris and Euphrates presently encompass Iraq, have presented in the history, the first school for science and arts and the earliest discovery in the world for weal, grinder musical instruments, agriculture, buildings and bronze.

Accordingly and by the help of god, it is attempted now to establish this symposium by us as the people of this land under the slogan:

"Our archaeologies is strategic, culture and ethics for

 the nation of the globe"

This symposium will be organized by academician of the universities and staff of the Iraqi Museums which include geology specialist in organic matter, geochemistry, geophysics as well as archeologist.

This symposium will be held on 23 March 2011 in the College of Science – University of Baghdad.
